Fast Weight Loss Diet - Lose 14lb in 5 days

A rapid weight loss program will require important changes in your life if it is to be a success. One of the most important aspects of losing weight is attitude and changing bad habits and replacing them with new, but good ones, something that requires a certain consistency. There are quite a few things that can impact your weight loss, a few of these are named here:

Obesity or weight problems that may endure in the family

Previous mental trauma

Desire to lose weight

Excess weight can cause a number of health problems, including those of self image and worth. Although the health risks are reduced when somebody starts to lose that excess weight, it is the self-confidence and self-esteem returning that is the most noticeable. It is for this reason that so many people are searching for a rapid weight loss method that will trim down those fats and get a super slim head-turning body. Regular exercise and a healthy nourishing diet are also going to be part of this plan of action. Exercise should be regular and ordered with at least fifteen minutes per day doing anything that is good for cardiovascular health, like swimming, running, brisk walking and even dancing.

It ought be remembered that despite the number of rapid weight loss diet plans around, they won’t all work with everybody that is on them, there will be different weight loss speeds and levels of success with anyone that uses them. If you discover that your exercise regime and dieting aren’t supplying the weight loss quickly enough you may need to adjust your regime accordingly. Each person has a unique metabolism and when a particular plan isn’t proving a success, it does not mean that success cannot be found with another dietary plan.

Exercise plans must be fit each person so if walking is all that can be done, then walk. Although, try to improve the pace you walk at as your diet progresses, not forgetting that you will look better when your fat is changed into muscle. Drinking fluids regularly throughout the day is essential. Drink plenty of water on your rapid weight loss program, at least 8 large glasses daily and remember it also flushes out poisons from the body. Getting rid of fried foods from the dietary plan should almost go without saying as the fat content in these foods is incredibly high and in some cases, this will include certain fish too.

Wherever possible have your food grilled as virtually all of the fat is destroyed, if not all of it so it’s much healthier. We all want energy to execute daily tasks, and more if we do physical activities, so do not stop eating carbohydrates otherwise you will discover yourself exhausted all the time. Generally speaking a plan like this can enable somebody to lose around a pound each day as it is based on a diet of between one thousand to fifteen hundred calories on a daily basis.

The only way to lose weight and keep it off:

    Diet and Exercise
    Diet and Exercise
    Diet and Exercise

    There are no shortcuts!

If you're really serious about losing weight, prove it. Weight watchers is a healthy and reasonable solution.

Hi there – no is the simple answer! Atkins starts off virtually zero carb. The Harcombe Diet allows brown rice & unlimited vegetables (except potatoes & mushrooms) for the first 5 days.
In Phase 2 we add in other good carbs (baked potatoes, brown rice, fruit etc) but we use what we know about insulin to make sure that we eat these good carbs in the right way to keep losing weight.
The Harcombe Diet is about attacking the 3 conditions that cause food addiction.
    Hope this helps – Zoe

If you choose the right foods without excessive fat content you can eat most anything you want. Portion size is the key along with an exercise program.
I'm a natural competitive bodybuilder and I can tell you 70% of how we end up looking for a show is diet related, 20% of what's done at the gym (although the hardest part physically) and maybe 5% of supplements that work for you. Loosing weight is all about how much goes in Vs. how much goes out. 3500 calories is a pound….proper eating and exercise will work.

You can Lose 9 lbs every 11 days after you know these facts:

    Low Fat Foods DON'T WORK………
You cannot lose weight using Low Fat Diets. Low fat foods have been popular for more than 15 years, but yet our society is getting more overweight as each year passes. This fact alone should tell you that eating a purely low fat menu is not the answer to losing weight.

    Low Calorie Diets DON'T WORK……..
You won't lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either. In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body's fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight (low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt — known as a dieting plateau). You can never get slim by starving yourself.

    Low Carb Plans DON'T WORK…….
You'll probably find it extremely difficult to get slim using a Low Carb Dieting Plan. Low carb diets have recently become popular over the last couple years, but the problem with low carb menus is that they are too strict and TOO HARD TO FOLLOW for average people. Low carb menus tend to rob your body of too much energy (carbohydrates) and make it nearly impossible to remain on the program for very long. This is why so many dieters find it difficult to follow a strict low carbohydrate menu.

In fact, the food that you eat can either make you THIN or FAT!!!

I wouldn’t say this if it hadn’t happened on numerous occasions. You obviously believe the calorie theory – I don’t. Watch a Type 1 diabetic lose 20lbs in 10 days because their body has stopped producing insulin – nothing to do with calories whatsoever. Thermodynamics has been misapplied to the human body. Newburgh & Johnson were wrong. Calories are not the answer!
Also – remember the body is 60% water so you will always lose in at least that proportion, but you CAN lose 14lb in weight.

Hi there – I have never come across this! Are you doing Phase 1 of the diet properly? Phase 1 has a limited amount of rice allowed (and it must be brown rice). The foods that are UNlimited are meat, fish, eggs, salads, vegetables (except mushrooms and potatoes) and natural live yoghurt.
Phase 1 has been carefully researched to overcome the 3 conditions that cause food cravings. You would be the first person to put on weight if you are doing Phase 1 properly!
    Hope this helps
    All the best – Zoe

Artificial sweetener has a bloating effect but by no means will one diet coke a day sabotage your diet.

  17. March 31, 2009 at 9:04 am | Permalink

It is impossible to lose 14 pds in 5 days. thats about 42,000 + calories. The human body can only burn in average about 2,000 calories a day to those who workout and eat healthy. But overall what im trying to say is that u wont lose 14 pds. maybe 5 pds. maybe you should mention that they will lose weight rapidly not 14 pds in 5 days. thats insane

Just eat healthy in all food groups. Eat 3 meals a day. Have enough portion for each meal so you won't get hungry between meals. That's the key. You won't have to completely cut down on snacks either. Just don't stuff yourself with those stuffs. Walking helps big time. If you do this right, you will start seeing some result after 3 months because that's how long it would take to speed up your metabolism. During the first 3 months, you will gain a bit of weight since you will gain muscle weight by walking and possibly other cardio you might do.
