Here are some weight loss diet tips that can be followed anywhere, everyday:

1. Make a delicious low fat mayonnaise by combining one teaspoon of Dijon mustard or satay sauce with a low fat yogurt.

2. Do not skip meals. Skipping meals slicks the body into slowing down the metabolism, attempting to conserve calories during a period where limited fats and fuel are available. Remember that eating increases the metabolism.

3. Stuff vegetables like capsicum and zucchini with flavored fillings or minced chicken, white meat or fish. These are healthy and contain low fat.

4. Take pita bread roll ups or wraps with salad fillings.

5. Eight hours after waking up, our metabolism slows down that is why 30 minutes of exercise before dinner will increase the metabolism for about two to three hours. This produces an increase in burned fat even hours after the work out is over.

6. Add alfalfa or mung beans to salad to get extra iron.

7. Good cooking and healthy eating begins with learning about nutrition and how to prepare healthy recipes.

8. Learn how to make the family favorite recipes and make sure that fats, salt, and sugar are cut out. Substitute non-fat yogurt for cream, stir-fry without oil and use herbs and spices instead of salt to taste.

9. Consult the doctor before beginning an exercise or weight loss program.

10. Slowly eat and chew each bite during meals as this would decrease one’s appetite.

11. Complete three small meals and two snacks everyday instead of one or two huge meals.

12. Use chicken stock when stir-frying. This will cut down on hidden fat.

13. Buy non-toasted muesli instead of the toasted ones. A plate of toasted muesli contains more fat than a plate of bacon and eggs.

14. As much as possible do not remove the skins of fruits and vegetables since most of the nutrients are concentrated under the skin.

15. Warm water with just a squeeze of lemon juice before breakfast get the metabolism going for the day, this also help preventing constipation and is excellent for the skin.

16. One of the best sources of vegetable protein is from soya beans or tofu. All legumes provide some protein, so include lentils, lima beans etc into casseroles and soups.

17. Look for a weight loss “buddy,” club, or support mates. This will motivate you to stay and enjoy your weight loss program.

18. Though it’s hard at first, try not eating 3 hours or more before bedtime.

19. Make pasta a fast food choice – preparing a pasta meal or salad will only take 10-12 minutes.

20. Chilli helps to speed up metabolism – even the milder varieties.

21. Try making omelettes without adding the yolks! A dramatic decrease in fat.

22. Substitute baking soda, baking powder, MSG and soya sauce in cooking.

23. Remove fat by dropping ice cubes into the baking tray. Fat will stick to the ice cubes.

24. Drinking hot water instead of cold water in the morning can increase the speed of your metabolism and burn more calories.

25. Eat before you go food shopping and always prepare a shopping list. Only buy food which relates to your weekly menu plan and don’t be tempted to buy goodies.

Make sure that the right discipline is still practiced to promote consistency on the diet plan. This will lead eventually to a healthy life-style and a more fruitful living without the extra fat and extra pounds on the side.

    go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7
    p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on your
    initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If you don't
    eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey cakes, you
    don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your diet is
    still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to calculate points or
    to buy special meals or plans.

    i am taking meridia. my doctor prescribed it for me to give alittle help. i still watch what i eat and i excercise. but this helps to keep me feeling full. i still eat my 3 meals a day but i don't have the urge to snack on junk anymore. i have been taking it for 2 weeks now and i have lost 9 pounds. i am following the weight watchers plan with the meridia. it works for me so good luck to you.

    Electrocuting yourself should make you lose weight faster. Dead people always lose weight faster.

    Seriously, though, the whole electroshock thing is a total scam. There's really no such thing as "targeted weight loss" unless you undergo surgery, which any physician will tell you is again not a substitute for regular exercise and a healthy diet. Forget "quick".. get-rich-quick and get-thin-quick schemes always fall through and the one who tries them winds up paying more than they ever dreamed.

    If man made it, don't eat it

    NO white BREAD or SUGAR

    NO PIZZA, I am in the pizza business, and it is not good for you, very high in FAT and Calories

    Stay away from FAST FOOD

    NO POP, SODA or FIZZY DRINKS

    Walk your dog, or walk a friends dog

    Don't think of it as a diet, but think of it as a lifestyle change

    I have lost 28.5 pounds in 3 months, drink lots of water. I usually eat a meal of what ever I want once a week….controlled portion….this really works………

    My 85 yo Daddy was 5′9 and weighed 165 which is not overweight, but he was type 1 diabetic with a growth on one of his lungs and he was too weak to walk or stand. Before cutting out part of Daddy’s lung, the Dr put him on a “no white” diet and he lost 25# in 6 wks while eating tons of vegies, fruits and meats and during that time he no longer needed the insulin shots. All his life he had been eating dessert with each meal and he liked white bread with lots of jelly.

    I think that this is a battle you will face for a lifetime unless you decide to change your lifestyle. Hot pockets and McDonalds are not good food choices. You have to prepare your foods.

    Simply eating fruits and veggies everyday require some thought. Go to http://www.mypyramid.gov and find out what you should be eating everyday. How you choose to prepare those foods is your choice- simple cooking techniques are easy to learn – and a salad with no-low cal dressing, a piece of fruit, and a container of yogurt, is as simple as anything to fix for lunch. Learning to eat fish is a lifeline to maintain weight loss.

    Make sure you buy at least 3 servings EACH of fruit and vegetables for each day. No cooking involved!! I make sure I buy 21 pieces/servings of fruit every week.

    eat all fruits! do not confuse your mind… they have fruktose. fruktoze is more complex than glukoze. and fruits have fibres…

    http://www.sparkpeople.com is a free web site that has the tools you are looking for. You can follow their meal by meal plan or you can make up your own… what ever suits you. They also have info on exercise, support teams, forums for questions etc.

    Don't g weighing yourself al the time, it'll just demotivate you if you haven't lost what you've expected to loose. Just wait till the end of the 7 days fast and then weigh yourself.
    But to answer your question – you are already down to eating nothing, so the only thing left is exercise if you can manage it. I'd go on a walk everyday as it's relatively low key. I'm not sure what your height it, but at 500lbs I'm guessing that you are pretty overweight, so take it slow, don't overdo it, just walk as much as you can without exhausting yourself. Time yourself that first day and walk the same amount of time the next day. As you are fasting you might have very little energy soon, so be careful combining that with walking. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded or whatever, just stop.

    You will lose more body fat eating protein and fat (don't eat protein alone) than not eating AT ALL. To lose weight fast eat all you want but nothing but meat, eggs, healthy oils, mayo, butter and half an avocado a day (you'll need added potassium). Keep your fat percentage high. Adding in green vegetables & some cheese will continue weight loss but at a slower pace.

    If you starve yourself, your body will freak out and will want to store every ounce in case it doesn't get nourished again. You need to give it adequate nourishment so it doesn't slow your metabolism down to compensate for lowered calories.

    Simple carbohydrates (sugar, flour, bread, cereal, pasta, potatoes, rice) triggers insulin which can store the calories you eat into fat. The more protein you eat the more the fat burning hormone glucagon is released. The more carbohydrate you eat the more the fat storage hormone insulin is released.

    High insulin levels unbalance other hormones. Controlling your insulin level will balance out other hormones & allow human growth hormone (HGH) to be produced naturally so you will gain lean muscle even without exercise. Any exercise will greatly increase your muscle mass with high HGH levels.

    Reducing body fat and increasing muscle mass will have you in awesome shape in no time. Good luck!
