    In your case, it wouldn't help much. I believe Alli works by blocking fat absorption in your intestines, which often causes some problems with your feces being fatty. You're already eating low fat, so that'd be pointless. Besides 1-2 pounds a week is a healthy, reasonable pace. Just be patient and be glad you're making that kind of progress!

    people are lazy and in general will always try to get out of doing something hard or challenging even if it is optimum.

    I see people here post questions all the time when they really don't want the "right" answer. many are just looking for someone to agree with their logic or methodology for weight loss and to agree with them.

    This is entirely possible. There's a lot of different factors.

    -Bone size: Some people have bigger and heavier bones, although it's never major, it makes a difference in certain areas of your body, your legs being one of them

    -Inherent muscularity: Genetically you can have some parts of your body larger and stronger than others, I, for example, have a larger and stronger back than most people, and it shows

    -Natural shape: As commonly said, your body is extremely unique, and sometimes our systems will have unique shape, this goes beyond your muscles and bone structure, since it varies widely.

    Don't worry about it, and weight loss will make a difference to a certain degree, but you will most likely always have the same general shape.

    yes, it works. But not as you might think. breaking down fat. maybe not. However, it does stimulate the bowels relaxing the body and most folks have a few pounds of undigested food in your intestines and are a bit constipated.     DO NOT TAKE LAXATIVES TO LOSE WEIGHT.

    they will decrease your muscle mass and you will be shitting out important nutrients and minerals that your body needs,

    just keep exercising how you are and keep at it.

    they probably keep the weight of because they take laxatives everyday. in the short term laxatives are good but in the long term just exercise naturally and dont take any supplements.

    it does not help you lose Weight it makes you lose muscle mass

    115*10 is 1150 not 1500.

    Yes i've heard this BUT its not about consuming calories its about displacing calories or balancing calories.

    Say you weigh 130lbs. If you eat 2000 calories a day and have a metabolic rate that burns 2000 calories a day then you will stay 130lbs forever. Unbalance the calories eaten and burned by a small amount will trigger weight gain or loss.

    Now say you cut your intake to 1150 calories, you have displaced 850 calories a day and will start losing weight, 1lb for every 3500 calories displaced or 1.7lbs per week. It'll take you about 9 weeks to reach 115lbs.

    Now the theory is that before, your normal habits were 2000 cal in and 2000 cal burned to maintain 130lbs. But now you are lighter, it takes less energy to walk, to breathe, to live. You were burning 2000cal perd ay but since you are lighter you are only burning 1150. Therefore if you continue to eat 1150 you wont continue to lose weight, you will have reached a new balance point.

    weight loss is as simple as calories in vs. calories out. this is an old and severely outdated mantra that is so wrong is not even funny. the body (endocrine system) responds differently to the ingestion of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. that being the case the source of calories and the ratios of the macronutrients is actually more important than the calories themselves.

    as the caloric intakes decreases the quality of nutrients must be increased. a low calorie diet of fish, fruit & veggies and nuts & seeds is severely magnitudes healthier than a low calorie diet of diet sodas and low calorie heavily processed microwaveable foods. people don't realize that you are what you eat. the body manufactures cells using the nutrients provided in the diet. the entire skeletal system turns over once a year while soft tissue takes about 6 months. cells manufactured from a diet of heavily processed foods do not function properly. you simply can't build a quality product out of inferior raw materials. this is also why it takes many people a long time to lose weight and why some never do because the do not make sufficient changes to the diet. this goes back to the quality of nutrients in the diet.

    in terms of the time of day that exercise is performed at it really doesn't make a difference. the quality of exercise is what matters. many people go to the gym, etc. and just count sets and reps and never actually become more efficient at exercise. if over the course of several months, year. etc. you are preforming the same routine with the same weights or the same speed/level doing cardio don't expect your body to change much. most never see the results that they desire because they don't push themselves hard enough when exercising. the body has to be given a reason to continually adapt and become more effecient.
